Job Context:

Riseup Labs is looking for a hands-on IT Infrastructure & Network Lead who can design, maintain, troubleshoot and secure our complex office network and IT environment.
This is not a purely managerial role. The right person must be able to personally handle: Network design & troubleshooting, Firewall, VPN, routing, VLAN, Active Directory, Windows/Mac/Linux, Storage, backup, endpoint security, Remote access, access control, compliance readiness.

Job Responsibilities:

Network & Security

  • Design and maintain office network (routing, switching, VLAN, Wi-Fi, redundancy)
  • Manage firewall policies, NAT, VPN tunnels, remote user VPN
  • Monitor network performance, uptime, and security incidents
  • Ensure secure segmentation for BPO operations (users, teams, departments)

Infrastructure & Systems

  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user lifecycle, access control
  • Maintain Windows Server services (DNS, DHCP, File Share, Print, etc.)
  • Manage endpoint environment for Windows + Mac + Linux
  • Ensure patching, antivirus/EDR, vulnerability management

Storage, Backup & Business Continuity

  • Maintain file servers, NAS/SAN, backup strategy
  • Ensure disaster recovery plan, restore testing, and audit readiness

IT Operations

  • Lead IT support team and set proper ticketing + ITSM workflow
  • Ensure smooth onboarding/offboarding for 300+ users
  • Asset management for laptops, desktops, networking devices, licenses

Remote Team & BPO Support:

  • Provide secure access for remote teams
  • Ensure high availability for BPO operations and client delivery
  • Maintain strong security controls for user access, data protection, and monitoring

Required Skills:

We will prioritize candidates who are proficient in

  • Complex office networking (VLAN, routing, switching, Wi-Fi design)
  • Firewall + VPN (Fortinet/Mikrotik/Sophos/Cisco/Palo Alto — any)
  • Active Directory + Group Policy
  • Windows + Linux administration
  • Mac support experience (basic to intermediate)
  • Storage + backup systems
  • Strong troubleshooting ability (real-world production incidents)

Mandatory Requirement (Hands-on Network Hardware):

  • Must have current, hands-on experience working with enterprise network hardware (routing, switching, firewall).
  • Must have deep hands-on experience with both Cisco and MikroTik (configuration, troubleshooting, VLAN, routing, VPN).
  • Candidates who do not have real, in-depth hands-on network implementation experience on Cisco + MikroTik should not apply.

This role includes hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of live office network infrastructure. It is not a purely managerial position.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in BPO, call center, or large user environments
  • ISO 27001 / SOC2 readiness experience (not just theory)
  • Cloud knowledge (AWS/Azure) for hybrid connectivity
  • Monitoring tools (Zabbix/PRTG/Grafana/ELK)
  • Experience with Zero Trust / MFA / SSO

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 7+ years in IT Infrastructure / Network / Systems
  • At least 2+ years leading IT support/infrastructure team
  • Proven experience handling 200+ users is highly preferred

Educational Requirements:

  • B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering from any reputed public or private university.

Office Time: 09 AM - 06.00 PM
