Job Context:
Riseup Labs is looking for a dynamic Quality Assurance Engineer to write and execute tests to ensure product quality. As a QA engineer, you will be designing and implementing in all aspects of product development, prototyping, tests, productization and making corrective actions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Test and find high priority bugs early in the process and ability to analyze bugs of the product under development
- Ability to analyze failures to find root cause, and follow-up with the development team to resolution
- Must have relevant experience with SDLC, STLC, UAT type testing
- Must have experience in API Testing
- Experience in different testing and project management tools is a plus like Jira, Clickup, etc
- Ability to analyze bugs in the product under development
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Ability to develop high-quality test scenario by applying different Test Techniques
- Keep learning the new technologies and effectively apply those in the projects
- Self-motivated individuals who can deliver the tasks independently and on time under pressure without compromising the quality
- Must be a team player and effectively communicate & collaborate with team members
- Execute regression tests and perform Install/Upgrade Testing during the regression phase
Educational Requirements:
- B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering from any reputed public or private university.
Additional Requirements:
- Develop and manage effective Test Plan & Strategy for software applications (Web, Mobile App, etc.)
- Experience writing automated test scripts using such as Cypress, Selenium, Appium, Robot framework, or similar technologies
- Experience in Mobile App(Android, iOS) Testing (1+ years)
- Experience in cross-browser testing (1+ years)
- Experience in troubleshooting of bugs (Analysis Client-Server levels)
- Experience with performance, network and security testing is a plus
- Ability to multi-task and pay strong attention to details
